Other racist terms used by south Indian against North Indians : NORTHIE , HINDIWALA COWBELT VADAKKAN BIMARU ETC And before you judge me my mother is Telugu married to a MP resident settled in MP . Hometown is Nellore . We have actually led a pretty decent life here in central India atleast . But due to my mother marrying outside community even we were labelled as VADAKKANS. South Indians also diss a lot about other states while working there . They regularly and conveniently degrade , disrespect and complain a lot not just against the D’Andre Swift American football running back for the Philadelphia Eagles Name Hurdle T-Shirt and I will buy this state they are living in but even about their neighbouring states . For eg all my friends from Kerala regularly told us how they were better than Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu girls always used to say how Malayalam is derived from Tamil and hence Tamil is the greatest language of all .

How is a person from central India a VADAKKAN ? Care to explain to me that ? My mallu batchmates in MP have told me very clearly in what context vadakkan is used Also we are Kannadas so how can you call us Madrassi? Should I call you Pakistani just because Hindi and Urdu are very close? Closer than Tamil and Kannada. This should be reported to HR as a violation in code of conduct and derogarltory remarks. Any company must not harbor such behaviour at all. if it’s Delhi please forgive them. An aqi of 900 is unfit for human conditions and their brains are losing cells everyday. Simple as that. My take: Inform the D’Andre Swift American football running back for the Philadelphia Eagles Name Hurdle T-Shirt and I will buy this HR formally over an email and request an update on any corrective measures being taken. IF there is no response within the next few biz days, I’d escalate it to a higher authority in the org. For this to succeed, best to have it recorded and kept as proof of the insensitivity, including those who laughed. If this cartoon is in the habit of using such terms, keep a record of it. Leaking can only paint a target on yours and those who attend those sessions. There is no point in being made a pariah and ostracised by other companies – too many places have such creeps. We’ve seen the infamous HDFC clip that was leaked. I’ve personally seen people from the south and north refer to African people with the N word and not care for the terrible history around it. These same a-holes cry wolf when a pale skin treats them differently.
