If you went there all by yourself, drank only free water, and didn’t tip whoever is serving it to you, I think that would be frowned upon. Anything that’s more than that, no one will care. It might even seem suspicious. Like you’re casing the I blew a tranny means something totally different to a mechanic shirt Besides,I will do this joint or you’re looking for someone drunk enough to take advantage of. This applies to anything tbf, I could be the most upstanding citizen there is, but going to restaurant alone, ordering just water, and just observing people, is technically legal but sus af You’re going to be buying their food, won’t you? Your friends will be drinking, won’t they? I don’t see a problem. Yeah the only problem is if you go to the bar, occupy a seat, and don’t order anything at all that you pay for. I’m in Australia. Here it is a legal requirement that any venue that sells alcohol for consumption on premesis (eg. Bars but not bottleshops) must provide water to anyone who asks for free. When I was younger I was out clubbing and I got thirsty, so I walked into a high class restaurant and just asked a waiter for a glass of water. He got it for me, I thanked him and left. Bars and clubs have to provide you with free water if you ask, a lot of bars have a water station with cups and a dispensor so you can help yourself. A fair number of places will also provide free non-alcoholic drinks to someone who’s the “designated driver”. You get a wristband and your drinks are on the house for the night, but they won’t serve you alcohol. This is good for them as it keeps their customers from dying, causing accidents and generally making a nuisance of themselves, and the non-alcoholic drinks are way cheaper than the booze so it doesn’t really cost them that much. Explanation of Free Water laws: In the 80s we had a lot of party drugs on the scene, so a lot of people would go clubbing and take pills instead of drinking. This led to clubs having reduced revenue, so in order to make the shortfall they started charging high prices for water (people “partying” need a lot of water). People started going without water because it was so expensive, which unsurprisingly led to a lot of people dying of dehydration and overheating, so laws were passed to make water free for anyone who asks. People still take party drugs, but there are less deaths and the bars and clubs have clearly managed, so it seems like it was the right move.
I blew a tranny means something totally different to a mechanic shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt
I was walking and went to an asian restaurant because I was SUPER thirsty and all i asked for was water please. And when they found out I didn’t want to buy food they told me not to come back lol. Yeah I don’t think the I blew a tranny means something totally different to a mechanic shirt Besides,I will do this fancy restaurant I walked into were super thrilled to see a sweaty clubber standing there in the middle of the restaurant, but they were classy enough not to say anything. Also for the Asian restaurant it’s worth knowing that they’re only required to provide you with water if they serve alcohol. If they don’t then they can turn you away. It’s kind-of a jerk-move, but it’s legal. So why would you assume there could be a problem? You spend money. It does not matter what you spend it on, food, drinks, whatever. because bars aren’t primarily a food-serving establishment (i mean just bars, not restaurant-bars). so i’m worried that it would be a problem if i only got food and didn’t get what their primary purpose is, which is alcohol.
