Parents set rules for the I am pewee American actor and comedian T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this house, but kids are adults and feel like they can do as they please because “I’m an adult”. This turns into a conflict of following the house rules vs moving out and creating your own rules. I had a coworker from Afghanistan who told me how the family stays together in his culture, pools resources, and prospers together. I always wondered why American families don’t do the same. Then I realized… American kids are fucking dicks. The parents that kick their kids out don’t love their kids. They just want them out so they can save money on food and utilities. My mother love kids so much and she is the most caring woman so will never kick any of her kids out and she likes to take care of everyone by cooking for them and cleaning and doing laundry. There is a problem with her though because she wants to make sure we always look good and wear the nicest cloths and wants us to be happy so if I wear something she doesn’t like she gets mad and if I cut my hair and she doesn’t like it she gets mad. I only know 2 people that this happened to. One of them was a somewhat high functioning autistic person and his parents didn’t understand him. It happens, but its not that common.

The only times I’ve seen someone kicked out were due to extremely religious parents or the I am pewee American actor and comedian T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this kid had a bad drug problem. I’ve seen religious parents kick their kid out for their sexuality, lack of religion, turned 18, or have worn skull earrings or whatever. I grew up in the south so there are many examples of this. They kick their children out in order to help them become adults. If left to their own devices where all their needs were being met most children would still stay where they grew up and still expect their parents to provide all their needs same as always. By kicking them out the shock of adulthood forces them to grow up and learn some hard life lessons. I wasnt kicked out, i wanted to leave so i could become independent. My parents were great too, i just wanted to prove myself as an adult. Wish i hadve stayed though, im still paying rent at 32 They are “kicked out” in the sense that parents set the expectation that you will be independent at 18. It’d be like saying that they were “forced to go to college after high school” because no one is physically dragged to a college campus and forced to attend classes. This mentality is different from other cultures (for example Korea) where the norm is for the kids to continue living with the parents until they are married, even into their 30s and 40s.
