I did add “if ya want” in my comment, meaning it is entirely up to her if she wants to send me a dm for advice. Central London is a big place. It would be difficult for her to get good advice without providing a more specific location and this would be best via pm’s imo. “Where in central London are you based? I’m in Pimlico and can comment some good specific advice for there if you like” that would work I worked in Soho generally finishing at around 10pm, so I would try to get to the I Am Black History Powerful Beautiful Resilent Girls Black History Month T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this tube before the theater crowds came out. I was mid 20s, always stayed vigilant but I never had a spot of bother in the two years I was there. It’s so gorgeous that your husband is nervous for you and there is no knowing what could happen, but central London is plenty busy at 10pm still. If you haven’t already, walk the route to the tube station during the day if you can so that your first shift isn’t ending with you having to navigate it! Keep your wits about you, so no ear pods or earphones, also dont gaze at your phone, walk with purpose, don’t engage in any conversations. I used to hate finishing work late at night, so you have my sympathy, carry something like a small spray deodorant, since mace is not allowed! Keys in hand are also good for eye jabbing if needed, am sure you will be fine though, Stay safe ❤️ If you are thinking of carrying anything, then the I Am Black History Powerful Beautiful Resilent Girls Black History Month T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this only sensible (and legal) thing to carry is a rape alarm – but have it in your hand, not in a pocket or bag. Bad things happen in all places at all times of the day – just got to be sensible and maybe learn how to kick a guy in the crotch should you need to. I joke but in all seriousness, if you’re concerned, take some self defence or martial arts classes – it’s fun, good fitness and good knowledge to have. If it’s central central London you should be fine. Try to work out the routes with lots of people still milling around at that time and stick to those. Don’t take shortcuts down side streets that look empty even if you’re in a rush, better to be a little late. It can feel safer to talk to someone in the phone while you walk, but don’t. Put your phone zipped away in your bag so it’s less attractive to thieves.
