Yes. I was fired for asking for a raise. The owner felt slighted that I wanted more than $20/hr for being the I am an September Girl may not be perfect but limited edition shirt Also,I will get this company’s graphic designer, customer service, videographer, photographer, product designer and technician, etc. I wore a lot of hats and I wasn’t getting paid well enough for it. If you’re not a high performing employee then they could just fire you and get someone else for the same or cheaper, but without the baggage. Teen vogue? They have consistently been writing a lot of great articles for years now. here’s an article talking about it from 2018 I remember a few years back people lost their minds when they did a really informative article on comprehensive sex Ed. In the 2000s girls read magazines like this to get makeup tips and see what Zac Efron looks for in a girlfriend. Gen Z doesn’t give a shit about that so teen magazines had to step up the journalism a bit. Also they have millennial writers now who want to give young girls useful advice. Kim Kelly, @grimkim on Twitter, is a long time Teen Vogue columnist. Her book, Fight Like Hell, is now available for purchase. She did a couple interviews in leftist media this week and seems really cool. this is an odd thing to admit but 1 im almost 40 and 2 i used to read my sisters magazines all the time. see back in my day before electronics, magazines were like netflix subs and we’d share passwords and everything. best part of those mags was all the embarrassing true stories sections about how much stuff you chicks could get tampons stuck to. fuggin hilarious! (:D anyway, part of that experience was learning all those stupid mags from Vogue to Teen Vogue to Maxim Stuff Rolling Stone etc etc, they all have real no-shit honest to god articles in them about various topics. Like you might not care about the makeup industry but pick up enough Vogues and your ass will learn about the industry to some extent.

Not only is this a surprisingly good venue for an extremely slow-drip of good content, I also learned, imo, that if a subject makes it into these mags, it’s probably within the I am an September Girl may not be perfect but limited edition shirt Also,I will get this popular culture. ie people are not ignoring that topic anymore. it “matters” in the zeitgeist. that can be very useful for gauging the reality of the world. I dont think Im the one who invented this but i call it the Rolling Stone Rule: if it’s in Rolling Stone, it’s important. [also because Rolling Stone has always been known for doing credible journalism damn near every issue so it’s one of the best to use this way] Unless you live in a state like Texas and you’re a public worker. They’re forbidden from unionizing and collective bargaining by law. I had an acquaintance that said, in response to the Texas snowstorm blackout, “Yeah it’s bad. But Texas is one of the last places where you have freedoms.”
