It kind of depended on my game plan for the I am a Caregiver I don’t stop when i am Tired shirt What’s more,I will buy this night, my mood, and a few other factors. Some nights, I would tip the same for each glass as I would if I’d ordered a premium drink. Other times, I’d pass them $10-$20 when I got my first glass, and almost every time, they would see to it that my glass is always topped off. And I’d typically pass them a bit more as I leave. But I think doing this, the most I ever spent was $20-$30 for the full night. It’s probably worth mentioning that I live in the Midwest, and cost of living here is not outlandish. You might need to modify the amounts based on where you live. Additionally, this was about 10 years ago, so account for that, too. Lol bar-goers/bartenders are so snooty about what is / isn’t okay at a bar. Truly successful bars are open to everyone, drinkers or not.

You disagreeing with it doesn’t change the I am a Caregiver I don’t stop when i am Tired shirt What’s more,I will buy this fact by taking up a spot at the bar and not tipping means you’re taking money from the bartenders pocket they would have had to pay rent. So weird to make people feel guilty for shit like this. What are we going to do now, require people to stay home if they buy any less than 20 drinks because it is taking $$ from the waitress or bartender?? Require people get lobster so they can get a higher tip percentage?? Where I live minimum wage for servers and bartenders is the exact same as every other minimum wage job. It is not my job to pay someone’s wage out of my own pocket. I say this as someone who has worked a job where people were expected to tip. I literally didn’t give a fuck if people did or not. This is always such a weird take to me, as though you’re not paying everyone else’s wages out of your own pocket any time you buy something.
