Ok I see a Superman and Raggedy Ann Darth Vader kiss who the Hypnotize camp posse flames shirt Apart from…,I will love this character behind the kiss mask person and is that he man or what’s that behind superman I don’t think that’s He-Man behind Super Man. With all the stars on the costume I think maybe Evel Knievel? Maybe? I can’t think who else it might be. I was always so grateful my Mother hand made our costumes in the 80’s. Everyone had this cheap crap and my Mother made my Frankenstein wig from fun fur herself, got a suit jacket from good will and puffed out the shoulders etc etc. I miss those costumes! The plastic mask that fogged up because of the tiny mouth slit, and then your eyelashes kept hitting the plastic eyeholes. The stylish dentist-style smock that tied at the neck and at (what I’d later learn was) the bra line. Don’t forget the always-too-big pants. And we’d all be more than happy to sit through a school day in basically garbage bags, just to show off our costumes! I remember how sticky I’d feel, but you never wanted to be the first kid to decide you couldn’t wear it for the rest of the day anymore! I was ALF one year at a school function, and the crappy thing fell apart on me. I was humiliated walking around in my undies and just remember the futility of trying to hold the pants up as they tore more and more. Eventually it was like trying to plug ever expanding holes on a quickly sinking ship. I was never so happy to see my Mom roll up in the station wagon (you know the one). I was born mid 80s, but Halloween heyday for me was 90s. Halloween in the 90s was still very good where I live.

Came in here to confirm that’s who it was. The mask has a bit of a Mike Myers vibe, but that star-spangled jacket is all Knievel. The main thing I remember about those is that the Hypnotize camp posse flames shirt Apart from…,I will love this edges of the masks made lovely razor blades for your cheeks and ears. I remember wearing one of those plastic mask and top costumes. I couldn’t see out of the mask properly and I tripped into a ditch and lost all of my candy. Worst Halloween Ever. I had that Superman costume! It was the only one I could find that looked remotely like Superman’s actual costume. Others had pictures of the characters on the front and that wasn’t gonna fool anybody. Man this gives me so much nostalgia it’s unreal. Those kids would have been a few years older than me but still things were about the same by mid 80s. It’s too bad they were so flimsy that it’s probably impossible to find old ones. Because I think kids these days would love this: they are so weird and creepy. Grew up kinda poor and all I ever wanted was one of these store-bought plastic costumes instead of the hodgepodge homemade kind. Now I realize how horrible they were. Raggedy Andy is terrifying. Imagine waking up in the night to piss and your kid is still in their outfit and needed to get water? Get back tiny Satan!!
