Has that happened before? Do any of the Houston Astros Orbit mascot shirt moreover I will buy this GPS apps bring u the long way? And the road she took, is there somewhere to turn around if u went that way by accident If not, then she wasn’t paying attention and probly didn’t realize she screwed up til st least halfway. I’m a delivery driver. I’d say don’t give her extra unless that’s a common occurrence bcuz she needs to learn to do better. I screwed up last night bad lol its near the end of my shift I was so tired and I was right next to a Wendy’s and an order came in for Wendy’s and so i was like cool! Im right here and went in the drive thru line for 10 mins n got to the ordering menu and talking to the Wendy’s employee i realize im at the wrong restaurant it was for the Wendy’s that was 10 mins from the one I was at. It was a $5.50 delivery and I was like FML I’m not driving 10 mins to the other Wendy’s and then 10 mins to the customer.

No. That’s just rewarding their stupidity. People don’t learn this way. Why didn’t they turn around? Definitely not on you to pay for their mistake. I may get some downvotes for this and I have to say that I have never worked for Doordash or any other service that delivers food. I get that it sucks for the Houston Astros Orbit mascot shirt moreover I will buy this driver but why should the customer pay extra tip for a mistake the delivery driver made? If I went to a sit down restaurant and ordered my food and the server decided to leave my food in the window for an extra 15 minutes to get cold because they forgot about my table or got lost on the way to my table why would I tip extra for that? If I am way off here please share your view point so that I might get a different perspective. Again I have never worked for Doordash and dont know what its like for the drivers. I am looking at this from the customers perspective. He also could have a second order from Uber eats for example. Your tip was fine but any tip is appreciated so do whatever you want.
