Yup, I’ve been groped in broad daylight by a group of men in Soho, with other people around (and a friend next to me). There are people here saying that these incidences are extremely rare, but several of my girlfriends have had similar experiences living central (and theft is super common). I’d definitely advise sticking to the House Divided Dallas Cowboys vs Green Bay Packers shirt moreover I love this busier roads (with more pedestrians), avoiding parks (including the surrounding roads) at night, not wearing headphones and not having your phone out. How awful. I’m terribly sorry this happened to your friend and hope she’s okay. Stories like this — where incidents happen at “safe” hours of the day in typically populated spaces — are particularly disarming. Sending love her way x Ex girlfriend was groped waiting for her bus to work at 9am on Seven Sisters Road near Finsbury Park. A very busy, high traffic area.

Unfortunately these can and do happen. But with sensible behaviour at least this likely to be the House Divided Dallas Cowboys vs Green Bay Packers shirt moreover I love this worst that happens. Generally Londoners are a brave and tough lot and will get involved if they see something happening, especially to a woman. On iOS you just smash the power button 5 times and there’s your alarm! It’ll call the police too. It just works IMHO they can’t really blame women for carrying knives when women have to put up with so much. The biggest anxiety many women have about living in low-rent area’s is not that they’re inconvenient or look bad but rather that they’re often riddled with crime and feel really unsafe to commute alone in at night. A lot of men don’t think twice about walking home alone at night whereas for a lot of women it is a genuine fear. “A lot” is hard to quantify, I’ve heard plenty of clueless 5′ women say they can take care of themselves or walk through dodgy parks I would never go through. Keep your phone in your pocket – was walking late night (albeit 1am) on Oxford street and 3 men on bikes rode past me and snatched my phone out my hands before I even knew what was going on. By the time I realised the phone was no longer in my hands, they were a good 200m away This is also why when on paths I stay as far away as possible from cycle lanes, I’ve seen cyclists in Westminster & Vauxhall literally rip phones out of pedestrians hands as they speed past them on their bikes.
