I love makeup, but I feel more and more like I can’t go out without it. I rely on it heavily for my confidence. A few years ago, I went a year without wearing it to school and found it absolutely miserable. I once cried in math class because of how ugly I felt !! I want to try again though, this time as an adult and in a less extreme way. Maybe I’ll have more luck. I can relate to you so much! So I’m 25 now. And doing so much better with this issue. I used to be the girl who literally had a full face on of makeup from freshman – senior year. I even went to cosmetology school in high-school. I remember the ONE DAY I didn’t wear makeup to school, and my “friend” told me I should have worn makeup that day (I didn’t wear it because we were going to do facials). She never wore makeup and always asked me to do it on her. It embarrassed me and made me so angry for her to say that in front of everyone.

So a couple of years ago. I stopped wearing makeup all together. I let the Horny toads mascot tcu horned frogs shirt in addition I really love this world know and myself know what “i” really looked like without it. Sounds dramatic but it meant a lot to me, I needed to know what it felt like to be comfortable without wearing it. And it helped a lot. Now I wear it sometimes. I would wear it more often but I have a kid and just don’t find the time lol. But it’s a nice feeling to not feel like I “have” to, and just enjoy doing it when I want to because you’re beautiful without it too! You just have to get comfortable seeing yourself without it, and get comfortable with other people seeing you without it. I hope my comment helped, and maybe not everyone agrees, and I still love makeup to this day, just to clarify. However I just felt like sharing because I really relate to this on a personal level! I think people should have more conversations about this sort of thing!!
