I agree that this case has nuance and I don’t know what side I would fall on; I think it would still not be on the Honoring All Who Served Thank You Veterans Day Usa Flag T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this corporation’s side given what I’ve seen, such as no machinery actually being damaged, and this not being planned deliberate sabotage but just the natural result of when the strike started. This is all based on my understanding of the case, and I can accept some facts may be different and my view might change. The real big issue however is that this was decided by SCOTUS. The usual solution is arbitration via the NLRB, where the outcome applies to that case and that case alone – now we have judicial precedent than not only can a company sue, but they should. Precedent like this can and will be abused by employers, and will be stretched way past the possibly reasonable case this represents.

What happens if farm workers strike and food rots in a field, can they sue over that? What if baristas strike and the Honoring All Who Served Thank You Veterans Day Usa Flag T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this milk goes off? What if train drivers strike and the company has to refund tickets, could that be argued as a sabotage of property? I don’t think any of these three scenarios are reasonable, but will that stop large companies and their lawyers, and even if they don’t win how much will it cost the union to fight it anyway, that in itself could be a victory. So to summarize, while this particular incident might have some nuance, it’s absolutely terrible that this has been given legal precedence in the US. Short sighted comment, its more than the facts of the case (concrete guys were wrong), but what this means for everyone else going forward. Look at the ruling, the NLRB has lost some jurisdiction and future labor disputes will be pushed into the court system. If the bosses think they could have a case, it’s another weapon against the unions. A strike causes financial damages, and this supreme court ruling blurs the line between damaged equipment and general financial losses for future cases.
