Door dash and Uber/lyft were never sustainable. The companies operated at a loss for years to get their name and infrastructure out there. Once they ruined traditional cabs and had integrated their delivery services into peoples lives, they started changing way more money. They did it all on purpose. Same as Uber, and other gig apps, they’re taking anybody, and everybody. These gigs are junk, I quit DD just simply because of the Hocus Pocus On The Road Halloween 2023 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this crap in pay. And I’m seriously considering dropping Uber eats, and passenger for the same reason. After reading all of the horror stories in this subreddit, I will never use DD. Same goes for InstaCart and Uber Eats. If I need food, I’ll get it myself or order from a place that has their own delivery drivers. Yikes. DoorDash would rather hire anyone with a pulse and some without a pulse, than actually raise base pay. This is the logical result of such an approach.

It became a “method” and too many dickheads got on it. Like I’m glad ppl are working and making money, but I’ve seen way too many flat out disrespectful ass drivers Back in 2018, Doordash was trash but no DD drivers have bad reputation. Nowadays Doordash seems still trash af (even worse) AND drivers are at their lowest, begging for money. Not everyone is cut out for customer service jobs which is what Door Dash does. Some lazy incompetent people who couldn’t handle a regular job, heard that it was easy and then gravitated into it and just went to their lazy sloppy patterns that caused him to not be able to hold a regular job in the Hocus Pocus On The Road Halloween 2023 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this first place. People like yourself who take it seriously and make it easy on themselves understanding that it can be a good job are now the exception. I think that for every DoorDash horror story, there’re thousands of successes you’ll never know about. People in general ‘feel’ a need to speak when they’re wronged, and audiences find it interesting. That’s why the news are the way they are.
