Mp is quite amazing i must say. MP tourism is best according to me since I have lived there for a couple of years. Check MP tourism YouTube channel and search for mp tourism add mast hai. The Bhimbetka Caves which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The cave shows evidence of human settlement ranging as back as 10,000 years! I recently visited it and was blown away by the intricate cave paintings and the giant boulders. M.P has sooo many districts. It’s a given considering it’s a huge state but from what I’ve found living here in the past year, more than half of the people have no idea about where most districts in the state are , as in where are they located besides the major hubs -Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Betul/Chhindwara and Gwalior. The districts which border Rajasthan and U.P are poverty ridden with little development. Indore is so much more … Glamorous as compared to the rest of the cities in the state. Bhopal gives me this serious, sombre vibes as it is the administrative headquarters.

People are really humble. Most young people in my city who have the Hello darkness my old friend dragon shirt but in fact I love this means migrate to other states and work there. They all have strong roots to their hometowns and love it. Another thing which not many people know – certain sects of people are crazy rich. You cannot image the insane wealth which some people have despite living in the remotest parts. However, they live modestly and are not flashy compared to where I come from. The state is also quite fertile in terms of wheat, rice , soyabean, potatoes, millets , pulses… you get it. I get to eat all kinds of vegetables all year around like capsicums, beans and carrots which I could only find in winters in the north. Unlike almost “ALL” other states, I have found only one think unique about MP that stands out, that is “acceptance”. I came from South, I was scared from all that was told to me. But I found people here amazingly simple and accepting of who I’m. Never was I told to go away like in Maharashtra/Gujrat, called slurs like in North. Truly the heart of India.
