People might say we use a different personality disorder instead, but there are criteria you have to meet and it has to be a pattern of behavior over time. You can’t diagnose someone with a personality disorder after one meeting, let alone zero. That’s why many psychiatrists no longer have licenses. Diagnosis with no evidence doesn’t hold up well in a medical malpractice lawsuit.
