I live in Devon where some chippies hike up the price for the tourists. The worst greedflation I’ve seen is instead of adding vinegar or salt or ketchup behind the counter, they sell little sachets for 20p a pop. Bet they claim it’s because of “health and safety” and not price gouging. (It’s so false and rampant with chippies and Salt/Vinegar HSE wrote an article denouncing it!) If I ordered this off just eat, I’d be asking for my money back. The grease stains say hot meal, the unmelted cheese tells me otherwise. Absolute luxury, we’d get the muck from under granddad’s fingernails after a morning tending the garden, and we were grateful Felt tip pen? You were lucky we used the green colouring pencil shavings stolen from the bin at the local playgroup. Pencil shavings?! Luxury! We ‘ad to make do wi’ the gangrene off our feet! And we were ruddy grateful for it else father’d have our hides and we’d be lucky for the experience. Fucking hell, hark at Mr Top Hat over here with his Taste the Difference gangrene! My old dear used to hang us wee’uns out the window with our mouths open so we could collect enough smog from the air to spread over our toast. And when I say toast I mean it was raw dough that grandad would place under his armpits for the afternoon. And that was only for special occasions! You kids don’t even know you’re born.

You’ve been ripped off big time mate, unless you’re from London, in which case, I can see why you’d consider this to be good value. You can see why the instructions clearly states fold it and bin it, the cheese (asumming it is) is not even melted. There appears to be something of unknown origin in a layer between the pale chips and the sweaty cheese. Zoomed, enhanced, tracked right 45 and pulled back……got a hard copy and still no idea. As a Brit who moved to the US, I gotta say the absolute worst thing about British food (which I spend a lot of time defending) is that so many places won’t melt cheese. It’s a fucking disgrace. If you served unmelted cheese on takeout food in the US, you’d be out of business in a week. Duct tape, earmuffs, a firearm and one box of ammo, a massive tarp, a bunch of rags, a couple of gallons of bleach, and paying in cash. Whoops ran a bit over the word limit there.
