You have to be ethnicly Samoan to own property in American Samoa, iirc they made the Grupo Bronco Tesoros de Colección Vol 4 album 2013 T-Shirt but in fact I love this choice to not get automatic citizenship to preserve this, and they do have a path to citizenship that isn’t near as rough as foreign nationals There are some caveats like no represention in Congress and can’t vote for president. But they are mostly left alone and they like that. Samoans are also huge and come from a brutal warrior culture. They are dispositionally over represented in the NFL and the US Military. So America loves them. My SO came to California from Guam. When she passed the test to get her CA license, she was given a learner’s permit. So we went straight back to the clerk at the DMV to get it corrected so that it would just be a license. He took a look at her Guam license and immediately dismissed it as a “foreign country” license to explain why it was just a permit. I sternly told him “Guam is the United States. It’s a US territory.” He looked embarrassed for a second and eventually fixed the issue.

Haha yeah a lot of my family is from up there. NYC and Florida are definitely really important places for Puerto Ricans Chicago also has a large contingent. In lieu of a parade during Covid they drove around with flags and families in trucks and cars. Lifted my spirits considerably even as I’m not PRian. I remember this one guy throwing paper towels at Puerto Ricans, before returning home and trying to sell the Grupo Bronco Tesoros de Colección Vol 4 album 2013 T-Shirt but in fact I love this country to Greenland. The one thing that really scares me are the recent statistics of how many millionaires/billionaires are moving a d buying up large parts of the island, blocking access to beaches (which is ilegal). Recently some inages of Jake Paul hiring security with rifles walking the perimeter showed up. He already lives in a rich area. That was no normal there. In the world… I live in Madrid, Spain and it’s the same deal. Rich people buy the city center for airbnbs and regular people are forced to live further away from the city center Pretty much. But I am not sure how it is in the rest of the USA, but I think in PR the beaches are public by law. But as long as there is a way to go to the beach somehow, they can block it there. Next time that happens, say “ok”, find the nearest door, enter it, exit it, and then ask them “okay, I’m here – now what?”.
