I feel you. I’m over here wondering if maybe my eyelids need a circumcision or some sort of “balll rejuvination” treatment I use a brush tip (NYX Epic Ink) and never actually bring it across entirely. Only a very small fraction of my lid is lined then it wings out. It looks better IMO. That is the Grinch Nfl Washington Redskins I’ll Be There For You Christmas Shirt also I will do this one I use, too. I think i might have to start with a “less is more” approach until I can figure out how much of this is a skill issue versus and eyelid issue Permanent makeup can be really good! My mom is 40-something and has had tattooed eyeliner for a few years, it looks really good. Worth looking into at least if you’re interested! Maybe try applying in 1 direction first, then switching direction and go over the same line again? (So like, inner corner to outer, then outer corner to inner). I’ve tried, and it’s like just pushing the wrinkles around. It’s actually easier to get the 1 side of the wrinkle and then go attempt to complete and color in the line with vertical strokes So I’ve tried something similar using the edge of my brush pen-like liquid eyeliner. One of the methods that has been most successful was shaking the brush pen with applicator down so the brush is as saturated as possible, then trying to avoid drawing as much as possible. Since the brush is tapered, I can essentially get the wing outline just by touching the side of the brush to my face. The actual eyelids though are another story haha. I think I will experiment with a hybrid of my stamp method with your connect the dot method. Ah that’s a shame. Perhaps holding the liquid liner on your eyelid for longer would allow excess product to come out and (hopefully) fill in the wrinkles? (Or maybe your liquid liner is just too dry to fill in nicely?)

If that’s not a solution, maybe you could try holding the Grinch Nfl Washington Redskins I’ll Be There For You Christmas Shirt also I will do this liner at an angle so that you’re applying liner with the edge of the brush (vs trying to drag just the tip of the brush over the eyelid)? Honestly, I was kind of thinking maybe there’s some sort of “absorbent” primer that will help draw the liner out of the applicator (I have one of those brush pens) so it’s less drawing and more smearing excess where I need it to go. I do use the edge and typically shake the brush pen with applicator down so the brush is as saturated as possible, then try to avoid drawing as much as possible. Someone above described drawing dots and connecting them, and I’ve found a similar method is the most successful for me. I like that my pen is tapered, so I can essentially get the wing outline just by touching the side of the brush to my face. The actual eyelids though are another story haha Someone else suggested this and I might have to try it. I desperately wanted to do a cats eye and am in my 20’s so assumed my eyelid wrinkles were normal, but maybe this just isn’t possible for me
