I find using the Grinch Love EPL Crystal Palace Christmas Shirt and I love this angled brush better than a pencil tbh – you can sorta press the brush into your looser skin areas and it provides a more even line than using a pencil, I find pencils still tend to skip bits where the skin is more creased, if that makes sense? The brush doesn’t have that issue. I do a hybrid haha. I line it with a soft bronze colored pencil, but just on the lid not winged out. Then I come in with a dark brown eyeshadow with an angle brush and smoke it out. The soft pencil helps it “stick” more. I think I can keep on with the liquid if maybe there’s an “absorbent” primer of some kind that will help draw the ink out of the brush pen I use so there’s more juice to work with and spread around. I do try to “stamp” my eye with the pen as much as possible because it gives the most even coverage, but it’s almost like I need a different feed that will allow wayyy more flow into the brush so I can actually make this method effective. If I went the pencil route, I think I would want somethign that’s like, eyeshadow in a stick and so powdery and malleable that it can get in those excess areas. There really are just no good options.

I think I either need a really soft pencil or powder that I then go over with liner, (ideally a liner that has a wetter flow) so I can get more “ink” on the Grinch Love EPL Crystal Palace Christmas Shirt and I love this eye while moving the brush around less. Thanks, I feel like I finally understand the challenges guys who shave (rather than trim) their nuts have to face As someone who is 34 and dealing with the same issue I feel you. I’m too young for ballsac lids already I’ve kind of just given up on makeup and when I do my eyeliner I pull my lid and try and keep it as close to my eyelashes as possible. Also gave up on wings entirely. Look at some of the other comments here, they’ve had some really helpful advice if you want to take another crack at it. I love the way liquid liner looks and will be so upset when I finally accept that I just don’t have the features for it.
