They are missing events for a lot of stuff that have been events in other APIs for over a decade. Well, it looks like Apollo is trying to clear their name by posting their backend code on Git. While it’s certainly a bold move, it’s unclear if this will completely disprove Reddit’s claims of scrapping and inefficiency. Only time will tell if this move will have any significant impact. However, it’s refreshing to see a company being transparent about their code and trying to address any issues head-on. Yeah dude, he can definitely remake the whole backend more efficient in 2 day’s time and edit the git history on top of that to show that he worked for years at it, how didn’t we think of that.

He simply made the Grinch Ho Ho Ho Christmas 2023 Design shirt and I love this existing repo public. The commit history is all there, with commits going back years. If he changed the code then you could see it. Do you know how git works? I mean it would obviously be a huge pain to come up with believable timestamps and iterations, but you can commit with any arbitrary parameters This isn’t a developer subreddit. You can safely assume that most people won’t know what git even is. Including the OP considering that “posted the code on git” is pretty nonsensical. For those that don’t understand how it works, git is a version control system. Basically it keeps a record of the changes made to the code over time. Each time you make a change, you “commit” the change to the git repository, which maintains a full log of every commit ever made to the repository.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
