I do notice when I don’t grasp it can feel less like I’m talking in myself and more like thoughts are coming and going . It’s all faster it’s not necessarily full sentences. That is a very very natural thought process and happen to also be a common flaw among many practitioners and their unwillingness to acknowledge their own shortcomings. Believe me, I’ve been there. Because we do not understand the magnitude of a Buddha’s mind, we would always compare ourselves to the Buddha. (I use Buddha not as to preach Buddhism, but the word Buddha which means The Being who is Enlightened, feel free to substitute the word Buddha with God, or the Awakened, or anyone with a bigger brain than humans.) It is like a person who has never seen the vast size of the ocean, therefore unable to imagine its expanse size because our thoughts confine our perspective. If the realm in our mind is limited, then we would not be able to imagine beyond that. Only when we reach the seaside and see the ocean with our own eyes, then we can we completely change our perception and expand our perspective! Since we are not Buddhas, we simply cannot imagine the realm of a Buddha. No matter how much we speculate or estimate, it will never be accurate. It doesn’t matter if you’ve spend 5 years, 10 years, or 30 years diligently studying and practicing Buddhism, it is mainly because our little minds simply does not have to capacity to understand. And neither are we able to completely opened ourselves up to understand, hence the repeated “don’t believe” So, in order to make progress and learn, you must be willing to continuously keep an open mind.

Humans think through an internal monologue, so everyone has it, but experienced meditators don’t give it any power.”Just knowing” is an ability about 10% of humans posses, that allows them to see through Bullshit.It has nothing to do with meditation, and is a basic human attribute.A mental safeguard to prevent 100% of humans to fall prey to our useless politicians and leaders.
