Also, everyone is built different. Probably better if you stop comparing with anyone else and just focus on yourself. Understand yourself better. Let other people understand themselves, not for you to worry about. But there are clearly experiences in meditation that are somewhat the Boo snoopy bats spider halloween shirt also I will do this same in people all over the world using Vipassana. That is not entirely because of hearing the same instructions The instructions are there to get this lesser attachment. I once watched a YouTube video of a lecture of a university in California. And they described aspects of what I had experienced like The first time this letting go happens . A sense of wanting to help people and that I’d find that suffering is caused by attachment and now I saw that was going to somehow bring world peace. That part was talked about . It had a line of progress on the board. Near the end ‘world peace moment’ and the lecturer said and then you go back to your thoughts. Reminding that also the world peace part was a thought

She explained something that apparently many people experience when they first have this letting go of the Boo snoopy bats spider halloween shirt also I will do this self or whatever you want to call it. And the second point that meditation does nothing like what I described. It doesn’t alter anything. If it doesn’t alter anything. Then why would anyone claim meditation makes them calm, focused , happy etc? I was pointing out your questions “Does meditation actually transform people with internal monologue to be more like people without one”… which meditation doesn’t transform someone to be more like someone else. I suppose I should have worded my words better to say “it doesn’t alter or make you more like someone else”. If you want to become like someone else, it’s easy to get lost. And to your second point… people feel all kinds of things… chocolate makes people happy, running can make someone calmer. These are feelings that people feel, but they aren’t permanent. Meditation can cause the mind to open up. Once it opens up, where you go from there is up to you, it’s like it cleans your dirty cup and dumps out the bad water, what you put into it is you… meditation is a powerful mind purification tool, doesn’t put new things in. I just wanted to point that out. You are still in control of yourself. Meditation just cleans the canvas, you hold the paint and the brush. So when you get a new canvas and you have nice happy thoughts, you could get all those feelings cause they were what you were subconsciously seeking.
