Went to my doctor, his advice was to eat less and exercise more. Moron.

I came in to get my tongue looked at. I am extremely sensitivity to most food, cannot deal at all with spicy food and most of the Grateful dead deadhead Simpsons shirt Besides,I will do this time, I am in a lot of pain. My female doctor says, “ohh I have seen this before!”, she then opens Google on her laptop and searches Geographic Tongue. She points to her screen and says “that’s what you have!”, and proceeds to show me pictures. If I could diagnose myself by doing a google search, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have came to a licensed specialist to tell me what I already knew. Before my doctor retired she told me I needed to start losing weight. She herself was obese and I’m mostly muscle. Was diagnosed with SAD in middle school or highschool. Was told to go to the tanning salon. My parents would never have paid for therapy so I guess it was better than nothing. Told the doctor I’ve started getting headaches which is most likely due to starting a new job and using the computer all day (work had asked me to get a note so I can take 5-10 mins longer breaks). He said no it’s not to do with that and prescribed me medication for depression, I don’t even have a history of it :/ oh and I didn’t get given the note either
