I seem to remember reading about a study, where researchers were trying to figure it out. They started with this idea that video games had revealed this massive desire for transgender expression in young men. They wanted to figure out if this was true. In the Good Omens Poster, David Tennant Wall Art Shirt it is in the first place but end, they discovered that a lot of the games require to spend a hundred hours staring at your character from different angles, but mostly staring at their ass. Most of the guys they were studying simply preferred to stare at a sexy female character’s ass than a muscular male character’s ass. Pretty much this, if I going to spend 20hrs in a game, I don’t plan to spend 20hrs staring the ass of a dude. That’s why I use an woman avatar. It’s a role playing game, why would i want to role play like me? The same reason i play a different race, helps give me more mental distance to RL stuff. Lol, exactly. I’m not a badass assassin in real life either. That’s why I play video games. To role play as something that I’m not in real life.

You constantly have to work around other people’s schedules. It is a real killing when trying to have a personal life. Hell, maybe for the Good Omens Poster, David Tennant Wall Art Shirt it is in the first place but class I want to play, the character’s only option is female. That’s probably the largest driver for me playing a particular gender in most of the games I play. I like this skillset, the character for that is male, guess I’m playing a male character, start another build, and the class is female, guess I’m doing that then. I really don’t care either way. No. I also don’t secretly want to kill thousands of people. It’s just a way of indirectly experiencing something that you would never do in real life. Like buying a large, beautiful house in the Sims. My thoughts too, that’s why I always find the argument of realism in games pretty pointless, like the whole point of video games is that it isn’t bound by reality
