it seems we’re entering a radicalization period, they happen every now and again, at different severities, this isn’t the Godzilla X Kong The New Empire 2024 Shirt in other words I will buy this first time it’s happened, think of the Civil war, or even the red scare and Cold war. people start getting really invested and start dragging other issues into it. the problem is when you demonise people on the other side, a very big thing in the Civil war, the damn extremists just ruin everything. we’re seeing lots of that from the extremists, and it’s kinda scary, but I don’t THINK we’ll have a civil war in the U.S. I think it’s by nature. And the internet just amplifies it. I mean every little tiny opinion is framed by its opposition to another. Chevy vs Ford, Roll Tide vs Auburn, Republican vs Democrat, gen z vs millennials, Facebook vs Twitter, cars vs trucks, rich vs poor, Apple vs Samsung, Xbox vs PS, race, professions, taste in life partners, pro life vs pro choice and literally every other political topic, religion vs atheism, public school vs private school,

Godzilla X Kong The New Empire 2024 Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

FUCKING EVERYTHING IS DIVIDED and everyone pretends you have to pick a side. If you say you don’t care about some issue, people treat you like you have the Godzilla X Kong The New Empire 2024 Shirt in other words I will buy this plague. “Google It” Now instead of discussing things with each other we’re more prone to tell people to go look it up themselves. Then they find a bunch of stuff that contradicts everything we’ve said. It turns into an us vs them. People got too used to running their mouths without any real repercussions from doing so. EXAMPLE: Intelligent debate, needing actual evidence, getting punched in the face, etc Hell, many nations had active secret service take out any political group, individual, or movement that they deemed a threat. All that is different now is technology allows us to see this all the time 24/7, contrary to our childhoods where you might only see it on TV, or the odd interaction outside. Yea I agree, I’m 29.. I bring this up ALOT to other like minded individuals who can actually carry on a conversation whether we agree or not on a topic.. My assumption is Social Media ruined it all, yes we had it back when we were teens but the world didn’t fiend over it like a addict The thing is democracy is hard. It’s only human to want to have things your way all the time. Social media and news feeds controlled by algorithms that show you only some of what’s going on in the world (but a lot of it) make it very hard to be empathetic to opposing views. I know my instinct (and the instinct of others) is to boycott everyone and everything whose views oppose yours. The division only plays into the hands of certain people in power.
