I was not served an adult portion and kids will not pay attention and sometimes skip meals because they’re focused on playing pretty much disfigured me, my stomach is bloated from constantly being basically bursting everyday for years. Even if I exercise and do diets, I can be looking prestine the God Says You Are Valentine Jesus Valentine Beautiful Strong Worthy T-Shirt and by the same token and “beer belly” will be there cause it’s literally my oversized stomach. I spent many nights sleeping across two chairs at the dinner table because I couldn’t finish the food my parents plated for me. All of us kids ended up obese. It was abuse. Adults don’t realize how kids behave/feel. They feed them adult proportions because that’s what they’re used to eating themselves. And a lot of the time they let the kids choose what they want thinking its good to let kids make their own decisions, and of course kids are going to only want unhealthy foods.

Sounds like you grew up in a shitty household but at least you had food so maybe stfu and this is actually a stupid question JFC If you are feeding your kids a meal they can easily finish, you probably aren’t giving them enough food in the God Says You Are Valentine Jesus Valentine Beautiful Strong Worthy T-Shirt and by the same token and first place. Kids will naturally stop eating when they are satisfied. Not even remotely close. I’m advocating that kids have enough food that they can simply stop eating when they are satisfied. Again, like I clearly said in the comment that you obviously didn’t actually read, kids will just stop eating when they are done. If your kid doesn’t do that, congratulations, you are a shitty parent who taught your kids horrible and harmful habits. Like most things with kids, it breaks down into them being dangerously stupid lol. You’ve gotta lay the foundation for healthy eating habits to make it easier on them later on Sounds like you have had some issue with this. The reason is simple, kids NEED to be disciplined and taught. How else do you teach a kid, that doesn’t want to do something or eat something, to do it? You lead by example and you sometimes have to be forceful (for lack of a better word) to a kid. Not physically forceful, I just mean by persuasion, or with a little volume in your voice. That’s primarily what’s wrong with kids today; no discipline, no respect, and parents don’t make kids do anything they don’t want to do. The result is bratty kids that don’t listen to their parents and/or don’t respect their elders. I don’t believe in belittling, screaming, cursing, and I don’t believe in spanking a kid older than about 3/4. The reason is when they are younger, you can’t reason with a toddler, so you give him/her a spank on their bottom or their hand. They understand that. When they get a little older you CAN reason with them and if they don’t comply, you don’t hit them, you take away something important to them, like their favorite toy or gaming system, and they SHOULD learn without being hit. My wife used to pinch them behind their arm (not too hard) when they misbehaved to a certain point. It was very effective. Just the thought of getting pinched fixed the issue most of the time. So the point is to raise respectful, disciplined and healthy children.
