There are just so many businesses where having to add enough empty space for their expected capacity, that has to stay empty at all times, would be a nightmare. The bathroom groups(s) are usually made of cinder block anyway, so it wouldn’t take much to fortify them a bit. The bathrooms aren’t typically big enough for the God country family Boston Bruins America flag signature shirt moreover I will buy this number of people that the stores can have. You’d have to build enough sheltered areas to handle every single person in the building at maximum occupancy, plus a few % to account for overflow. It’s not impossible, but it it’s also not simple. Because in order for those spaces to actually be useful, they have to be kept clear at all times. So I grew up in Oklahoma and I know people there always say that you can’t build basements there. They’ll say it sitting in a church basement… One of the houses I lived in was built in 1903, as an experiment in tornado proof housing. Walls where 3 feet thick (which was great in the summer, flat roof, one curved corner, and ofcourse a high basement. Besides having shelters for an ever increasing tornado alley, there’s an issue about people not heeding warnings. Well, you can’t fix stupid, lol. But you can make an option for people who are less inclined to die to the annual F2 that hits.

Some homes are not on proper foundations, or the God country family Boston Bruins America flag signature shirt moreover I will buy this ground itself does not lend to building storm shelters. Sometimes those shelters become unearthed by flash flooding, leaving people trapped in a partially submerged shelter during a tornado. Tornadoes occur every year, they are merely spreading to areas that don’t normally see them due to climate change. Every state has more than enough money to build, at minimum, a community shelter in every town/city within the state. Most would rather spend their money and time on unnecessary culture wars and lawsuits. What do you mean by “spreading to places that don’t normally see them”. Because that isn’t true. especially this year all the outbreaks have happened right where we would expect them to happen.
