I have solo traveled around Europe as a 20 something woman for a few years and can reassure you it is completely safe! I would start out by going on a trip somewhere that’s just a few hours from home. Book an airbnb (I always suggest booking with a female host who has like several, 30+ high ratings) or find a highly rated hostel with a girls dorm. NoLa has some fun hostels and is a v fun place to travel. Best trip of my life was traveling solo to Greece!
