I think literally nothing of it. I have bigger problems in my life than what other people are doing with their own lives. I usually look around at my surroundings when I get somewhere. But I don’t actually care what other people are going. I’m an older ( in my early 60’s) straight male and well remember the stigma of it in Scotland in the 1970’s. Luckily I knew plenty gay people from work I did in theatre so it wasn’t a novelty. I don’t really think anything. In the same way I don’t think anything about seeing hetro couples in public. I always find it a bit weird when people get stroppy over it, too. Like, who cares? Neither of them affect your life in any way. Why does it matter? Let people do their thing. Totally don’t care. I don’t think anything about it. Nothing on my mind at all. I just don’t like PDA in any couples..either in opposite sex or same sex couples. Gay couples definitely stand out more to me, but that being said I’m bi myself so I notice, kind of think ‘hell yeah’ then move on with whatever I was doing with my life. That being said I’m also incredibly dense so unless you’re very obviously a couple I probably wouldn’t even know In the 90s it would have garnered stares and comments, 2000 a few looks and a “huh”, now people don’t batter an eye, or most a glance.. Unless they’re making out, then it’s still stares. Australia for reference.
