Not a fan of it but we do have it our dogs killed the Gamma Phi Beta Dad’s Weekend 2023 shirt in addition I really love this real stuff and all was left was mud in winter and summer dusty or muddy looks and is better than the mud If I was willing to dox myself I could show you a pic of why it can be a good thing. I have a greyhound amd have owned dogs for 14 years. My grass couldn’t survive regardless of how hard I worked on reviving it every year. My kids couldn’t play on 3/4 of the garden. In the winter it was a mud/poo pit. For the last 2 months, my kids have had somewhere to play, I can pick up poop easily and my garden looks fab for the first time in years. Not that I’d want it everywhere…but there is a place for it. It’s depressing how many people want the government to ban things they don’t like. What right do you have to tell people what they can and can’t put down in their own garden? In America most of people get fake grass because they’re too lazy to mow it. But it’s bad because if your dog takes a dump on it, have fun trying to wash the stains off. I’m pretty sure you can’t throw it in the laundry bin either.

considering they are banning real grass with all the Gamma Phi Beta Dad’s Weekend 2023 shirt in addition I really love this fucking roads they keep building that dont fix anything we may as well ban the fake stuff as well Crap for biodiversity..often takes just as much maintenance as normal grass and puts even more plastic wastage into the environment. Also gets disgustingly hot in the height of summer if not shaded so unusable. Non chav here. I have a 3mx3m patch of AG in my back garden. It’s easy to clean, gives my dogs somewhere to play, and compared to the horrific mess it was before we moved in, felt like a good idea. Saves the big muddy, mess in the winter and my dogs just tearing it up and digging holes. So, works for me. Had no idea it was bad for the environment though! Can we ban useless lawns while we’re about it? All that mowing for what? If we do ban plastic grass then we should insist on rewilding.
