I also have issues ruminating about what happened in the G-III 4Her By Carl Banks White Seattle Kraken Hockey Girls Shirt and by the same token and past, and attaching myself to that suffering. What I realized yesterday: maybe we can’t change the past, but we can change the perspective or the narrative of that past. We can change our focus from the negative things that we hold onto in the past, and decide to look at that same past from a perspective of gratitude, and practice this new narrative until it becomes the new version of the past. For example: I’ve had a quite tough childhood, in which many things happened that affect me to this day. I tend to look back at my childhood and see it as a time of loneliness, pain, bullying, trauma,… But lately, I’ve been trying to think about the things that díd go right: the small encounters with kind people on my path that showed me that not everyone has bad intentions, how I discovered joy in reading and art, how lucky I was that I actually made friends that took me in as their family… This, I realized, is ALSO my past and if I choose this narrative, it seems like the rumination disappears and is replaced by gratitude

I only started a few weeks ago and do 15 minutes a day maximum and I’m noticing changes in how present I am in moments. Basically boils down to write down resentments and frustrations, and they lead you to hidden fears you’ve been weighed down by. Psychedelics under a ceremonial setting and a lot of research beforehand. There are serious molecules, but can be very beautiful and healing Try attending to your overall ethics because they form the foundation of any meditative practice. Consider becoming vegan, giving up alcohol and drugs, stop lying, gossiping and speaking harshly, in short clean up your act and start practicing ahimsa, or non-harm. You might also like to include walking meditation, metta mediation and even tonglen meditation to your formal mediation sessions and start an informal mindfulness practice where you pay attention to all your actions of body, speech and mind continuously thoughout the day. Look deeply into your motivation behind what you are doing and thinking of doing. In Buddhism, which I practice, we see meditation as a process of connecting and familiarizing ourselves with our own true nature, our own innate good qualities, we call Buddha-nature.
