I read the Funny with That Insane Grab Sam Pinckney Iii Has Set The School Single season Record For Receptions In A Season shirt In addition,I will do this other post the same way you did, and was like, “what?”, but I think we’re all in agreement, they just worded it poorly, but meant the same thing you did. They’re saying it would be illegal to pay someone 8 hours of wages if they actually worked 9 hours due to the time change. I never get that lucky. I swear I have to work the bad one every year and I’m stuck in an ER for 13 hours instead of 12. This is a thing at bars/restaurants. Stocking shelves/hourly overnight shifts you work your 7.5 and kick rocks. You either go in an hour ‘late’ or leave an hour ‘early’ based on your preference/Policy. Lol. I worked on the OB floor for 5 years. Sometimes because of DLS the placenta looked like it was born way before the baby was. I worked in hospital IT for a while and the time change was a real challenge for us too lol. Worst on call night of the year. Edit: unfortunately mandatory reminder this comment is only relevant to the UK. Please stop telling me I’m lying about your hospital in Denver. Doctors and Nurses have some pretty nasty exceptions from employment law due to the nature of their job. It’s not for the faint hearted.

They can be forced to work overtime (depending on the Funny with That Insane Grab Sam Pinckney Iii Has Set The School Single season Record For Receptions In A Season shirt In addition,I will do this country/state) but they must be paid for the extra work. Not paying them for it is seriously illegal. Where I live, IT people who make more than the salary cutoff are exempted in the same section of legislation as doctors. Where I live, As long as you are paid more than $57,000 per year, and are paid for a result or have employees directly reporting to you, you can be considered overtime exempt. Overtime exemption means that overtime worked is not paid, however it also means that strict adherence to work hours beyond what is needed to complete your work, can’t be used to fire you. Both IT people (IT professionals” according to the legislation) and Doctors who make more than $65,000 per year are considered exempt from maximum shift lengths, minimum rest periods, break requirements. Where IT people are better off than doctors is that an IT person can legally quit, and cannot be compelled to work. Doctors can be compelled to work by the government.
