What a con job this was. It doesn’t take a deep dive into the Funny isney Villains Yzma Pick Your Poison Portrait shirt also I will do this details to see how impractical this is. Do you know how large these trees would have to be to emulate as much as one street light? In their calculations, it’s 1,000 sq. ft. and they’re likely being modest. That cannot work. He even admits that it will be as visible as glow in the dark paint and they’re “working” on fixing that. Patreon ended after getting over $400k and they all stopped updating the project. Last update was letting the backers know that what they paid for isn’t being shipped. Word to the wise, when it’s a group of recently graduated ivy league college kids starting a Patreon, the chances of it being a scam are near certain.

Obviously wouldn’t work as a “street light” but might make for a good safety feature for medians/road sides in dark areas and the Funny isney Villains Yzma Pick Your Poison Portrait shirt also I will do this like. I have a better idea let’s just start mass breeding fireflies! Literally billions of fireflies and just release them, the thing about fireflies is you could use them indoors too, imagine the savings on electricity What if we put up millions of mirrors in different places and kept the sun shining all around the world all at once so it’s always daytime everywhere? A second sun! So that it’s light for twice as long! We would just need sun blocking blinds and we can grow crops all day long! And no night so no night crime! Rest == 3 seconds. I love it. It’s like why buy a man a plane ticket? Push that man out of a plane and he will fly for the rest of his life. Or, and bear with me here, what if we took electricity from the existing power grid and arced it through a bulb full of ionized gasses. Or ran it through a light emitting diode. We could stick them up on poles to allow the light to shine out onto the street. I have a much better idea, let’s just start interbreeding fireflies and mosquitoes! Literally billions of glow-in-the-dark mosquitoes and just release them onto your ass. The thing about mosquitoes is you could use them indoors too, imagine the savings on mosquito repellant. In that case, rather than trees, etc it would probably be better to make small organic material that can be embedded in concrete and/or applied on top.
