I started with Caviar back in 2017/18 and it was so totally different. It was a lot of hoops to jump thru to even start driving. I’ve still got my hot bag that was required to have. In the Full Violence Store Manel Kape Star Boy Shirt In addition,I will do this last year, I can’t say I’ve ever seen another dasher with a hot bag of any kind. Just another slip in professionalism and lowering standards. Tips were actually pretty few and far between and usually in cash (or would show up 2 hours later, but that was rare). Maybe 1 in 6 orders would tip. But that was ok, most nights I would bring in at least $30 an hour, weekends $40 was easy. But the average order paid like $8-10 without tips. Now the average order without a tip is $2/$2.50. That’s a huge screw over. Now everyone and their mother is out delivering and there are plenty of idiots who couldn’t care less and are willing to do 6 miles for $3 so I doubt it will ever get better again.

Everyone stopped getting unemployment and slowly returned to the workforce. I remember when I used to make like $40/hr before expenses. Handicapped drivers are the problem, they are usually disgusting and doped up on meds. They get free money for breathing still, but it’s never enough….doordash needs to have standards for hiring drivers and a mental physical eval needs to be done. I’m done hunting down townhouses and apartments while Karen sits in her house like a bunker. Tired of weird ass people loitering around apartments and creepy fucks. For less than I made working at Burger King in high school? Nah
