Our eighth marriage counselor told me privately “I have never, in all my decades of therapy, seen two people more poorly suited for each other than you two. You need to get a divorce or you will be dead of a heart attack within a year.” That was 2012. I am happy to say I am now in a relationship that’s three years along and we’re both very happy. Sure. They have a professional duty. Some marriages just don’t work, and they’ll typically recognize that over time. A lot of people are too selfish to make a marriage work, and in the Freddie Freeman Los Angeles D Arc Signature professional baseball first baseman T-Shirt in contrast I will get this end, it really only takes one out of the two for that to be the case. That said, if you’re married and your spouse really is pushing for counseling, do it. And go into it with an attitude that something needs to be worked on, probably by both parties. If you think the marriage is shot, I don’t think you’ll find that the therapist is trying to trap you. Sure, they’ll try to help get to the bottom of things, or offer ideas on what areas need changes or more efforts made. If you love your spouse, it’s worth the effort. If you’ve already given up, then you gotta be upfront about that too, which is probably better to do in counselling than sitting at home on the couch.

I am a therapist myself and I once attended a training where the Freddie Freeman Los Angeles D Arc Signature professional baseball first baseman T-Shirt in contrast I will get this marriage therapist told us, that a couple he was seeing would fight so much during the session and wouldn’t break up or work with him. He says once during their fights he got up and started banging his head on the wall. That startled the two of the into listening and strangely enough they were able to go ahead and save the marriage, because every time they argued after, they’d stop and take a step back and remember their therapist with his head banging I have a friend right now whose therapist asked them why they were even married. That their relationship wasn’t even friends with benefits and at times wasn’t even a friendship. I have no idea why they are still married and by the sounds of it…neither do they.
