I said, I don’t mind that a manager spends time in his office doing paperwork, but I do prefer to work with someone who’s willing to do the Florida Gators FL GA Rivalry Game 10 28 2023 Jacksonville Florida Shirt and I will buy this same things they ask for their subordinates, you know, get down and dirty when it’s necessary to help out. I know it’s not your job but I have respect for a leader who gets in the muck and can show us how it’s done. All three of the direct supervisors look me straight in the eye and told me they’re not paper pushers and they prefer to be helping the team, they admitted to being accused of micromanaging but it in their awareness they do their best not to. We’ll they were right about not being paper pushers, they sat the entire work day leaned up against the wall talking to other managers and vendors, about their kids, their wives. Their golf game… and no you couldn’t accuse them of micromanaging, they’d sit there and wait for you to finish to tell you how you fucked up. And how they really wanted the specific project to look. I interviewed for their position initially and was on a “trial period” that was supposed to turn into a supervisor position based in my experience. After 3 weeks I was gone. I told each and every one of them I was not going to work with a lazy, pointless team and walked.

I used to work with a bunch of drs and they anyways went to the Florida Gators FL GA Rivalry Game 10 28 2023 Jacksonville Florida Shirt and I will buy this top of the line for whatever they wanted. When they needed their travel expenses refunded they’d complain and get thousands reimbursed overnight while the rest of us had to incur interest on our credit cards before we got paid back. No thanks. Get hard details from HR before you even interview with the manager. Ask specifically for the size of the team, tenure of staff with the current manager, and how long people before you lasted in the role you’re interviewing for. You’re assessing turnover, because if it’s high or abnormal, you want to ask for more details. Get an idea of how regularly they communicate, do they just show up and complain at the end of a big project? Do they work alongside their staff to solve problems together? Ask them what’s one thing that they’ve had to change or adapt in their management style? See if they take any accountability for admitting past mistakes and trying to get better
