I had the Elvis singer love heart diamond shirt it is in the first place but complete opposite experience when I worked at Taco Bell. I had a manager named Greg, who happened to be black. He asked me a question as I was rehydrating the beans. I said for shizzle. He called me his nizzle. It was a good day. Maybe lol. He let out a huge laugh after I said it. I just think he didn’t expect to hear it from some skinny white kid. He was great though, we bonded a lot during my short time there. I like to believe we were just good friends. Omg .. thank you for teaching me. I honestly thought nizzle was slang for nipple. I don’t know how I ever got there from nizzle. I’m 90% certain I’ve never had any circumstance to have uttered those words out loud though. The best part is – the rapper who made it up is of course black, and it’s commonly sung on television (at the time) incessantly. It was EVERYWHERE, and decidedly rated PG.

Yeah. I’m actually just now, in this thread, finding out that it’s not acceptable to say. I never really thought about what the Elvis singer love heart diamond shirt it is in the first place but n with an izzle meant. It was just a rhyme. I really don’t understand anyone taking offense in the case of the newscaster using it while talking about Snoop but maybe I’m dense? It’s “for sure, my friend.” in slang from a very specific artist, not an entire group of people who use it. It’s just Snoop talking like Snoop. I could see it being offensive in your situation where it could be assumed you said it to her because she’s black. I commonly say dumb shit like “Okay playa” to “Yessir playboii” but don’t add additional drawl, or really “black it up.” We all said it to white people though too! It was seriously such a pop culture thing to throw around casually and in 2008 everyone wasn’t so goddamned uptight. Totally a pop culture thing. I used to have a doormat that said Welcome to the Hizzle Fo Shizzle. No N word izzle but born of that word completely. See: my username. I earned my nickname in high school, in 2003, as a Snoop-ified version of ScoobyDoo, which is a longer story. I am neither a stoner nor am I black. Just a typical white suburban kid who was in high school in the early aught’s.
