I got a roll of [I don’t know how many] bin bags from Poundstretcher last December, that we finally used up in August. Cost a fiver, and they were proper strong. Now that poundstretcher is a Poundland Brabantia bins are great! We’ve had one for 20 years or so, it has one of those lids that open at a touch (not magnetic). When the Driving My Husband Crazy One Goat At A Time Animal Lover T-Shirt and by the same token and catch broke (about 15 years back I think) I emailed the company and they replaced the lid for free! I take better care of the lid catch now. As for tea towels, muslin clothes (you know the things, for babies) are great for drying plates etc. Also, may I recommend getting a proper glass cloth for drying glasses, they are specifically made to be lint free (mine has glass cloth written into the fabric so no chance of mixing it up) and are the BEST for drying glasses. Good for polishing you eye wear too!! Agree. We’ve got a 30l touch bin. It’s brilliant. They’re very expensive on the Brabantia website but shop around. Robert Dyas look like they have a good real right now.

We bought a pack of replacement catches for ours, have had to change it a few times, but they are actually replaceable on our model. I love things that are built to be repaired. I mean ours was very well constructed and I was very happy, but I just checked Amazon and they can get crazy expensive. My best bargain ever was our Brabantia bin. £5 from the Driving My Husband Crazy One Goat At A Time Animal Lover T-Shirt and by the same token and tip. Actually bought it for my parents as they needed one, then they moved to a boat and I got it. £5! It has a small dent, but otherwise nothing wrong with it. We’ve had to replace the closing catch a few times, but 10 years later and it’s still going. I like Dunelm teatowels. They dry good and wash well. Brabantia do good bins, but I’m not sure when you say budget.
