You said it yourself, he’s not doing anything wrong. If you feel weird about it then go down the Dragon Ball 40th Anniversary 1984 2024 Akira Toriyama 1955 2024 Thank You For The Memories shirt and I love this road of telling him not to talk to you. But then you will be the weird one for feeling weird about nothing. Don’t look too deep into it until something inappropriate happens. (Hopefully that never happens). Irregardless of whether it’s normalized for him to do so, make sure you are taking care of your own uncomfortableness. I say that because even if everyone thinks it’s ok, if you don’t, that’s what matters. From what you’ve said it does seem he is genuinely trying to be friendly to his fiancé’s mother figure, but make sure you set boundaries too. The reason this feels stand to you is because he broke that boundary to begin with.

I’ve had a similar feeling before, and it was also with a person of the Dragon Ball 40th Anniversary 1984 2024 Akira Toriyama 1955 2024 Thank You For The Memories shirt and I love this opposite sec much older than myself getting overly close or familiar with me (they sent me a lot of gifts/presents). Although I felt they did it in good faith, I felt uncomfortable with it and let them know as well. Not weird my dad’s best friend (male) from before they got married is now one of my mums best friends over 35 years and a separation later, its an entirely platonic friendship and always has been, my mum also talks to his wife frequently also as a friend. She probably sees you as family so he views you as her family, it also wouldn’t surprise me if he just happens to be one of those folk that is extra chatty and wants everyone they meet to be their friend
