Yeah, that’s a really big 0 to 60 for a minor argument. Disagreements like this happen in a relationship, and you have to brainstorm to figure them out together. The fact that she went straight for a weight insult is very concerning. There are plenty of reasonable solutions to try (dropping the Disney Vallains Tis The Season halloween shirt Additionally,I will love this AC temp at night, buying a cooling mattress topper, trying a different fan or a different direction, etc.) but the fan is a secondary issue now. The way she fights is the big problem. Yeah I had an ex who slept with the fan on full blast (even in the winter) and while it annoyed me, I never called him fat because I got mad (even though he was probably a few lbs overweight himself). His gf is immature, they could have reached a compromise if she knew how to communicate like an adult. Agreed. I’m a lot more than 9 lbs overweight and my boyfriend’s constantly telling me how much he loves me just the way I am. I can’t imagine how hurt I’d be if he called me fat. Imagine if the genders were reversed and he had called her fat… pretty sure she wouldn’t have liked it

I don’t think calling somebody fat could ever really help. Fat people already know they’re fat. Telling them is unlikely to make them start working out. I could see how it would be difficult if you’re with a partner and they start gaining a lot of weight and you lose attractiveness to them. In scenarios like that, I could see people lying that they still love the Disney Vallains Tis The Season halloween shirt Additionally,I will love this way their partner looks even if they don’t. Probably the best way is to encourage them to go to the gym along with you so you can both lose weight or get healthier. Then its less of a them problem and more of a we problem. Here too. 25 or so over my normal weight and honestly, I can only see it sometimes. A small bit of a muffin top n my thighs are a bit thicker but otherwise I can barely tell. How is one noticing 9 lbs? Gtfooh… And it’s also over something she was already aware of. If her and OP are moving in together I would have hoped they would have already encountered and dealt with issues such as this, but at the very least, she knew about it.
