EDIT: to address your point about apartheid. I remember those protests. That was my generation (Gen X) that really kicked up a fuss. I remember the Disney Christmas Donald Duck Nike Logo 2023 Shirt and I will buy this protests and all the actions being taken by teenagers and young people. I don’t remember my parents and their cohort doing a damn thing about racism in the apartheid era… the original protests were against the Springbok Tour of 1971. I don’t think GenX was out of primary school at that stage, let alone violently clashing with police The neo-nazis staging their protests aren’t middle-aged, and they’re the visible pointy end of a deeper issue. Pretending this problem will ‘die out with the current olds’ is just foolish. To be honest, these days I’d rather have a family of respectful, quiet, hijab wearing Asians living next door than loudmouthed, know it all, white trash Aussie bogans..

Well, duh. I’d rather have family of respectful, quiet Aussies next door than a loudmouthed, know it all, trash Asians, too. You can insert any demographics in that statement with those qualifiers and most of us would agree – you’re just saying “I’d rather not have arseholes next door” regardless of the Disney Christmas Donald Duck Nike Logo 2023 Shirt and I will buy this type. Ironically, by throwing ‘bogans’ in there, you’re just engaging in a different kind of bigotry (classism). Bogan isn’t synonymous with arsehole. This shit was around the 90s too, remember when they thought Christmas would be cancelled or when Pauline said the country would be under Sharia Law I grew up on the North Shore of Sydney. Sometime in the last millennium. It was so utterly white and racist. It’s moved in now. And become a better place because of it.
