Being a T2 diabetic a lot of these “healthy foods” are off the Devin Booker Phoenix Sun Slam Shirt besides I will buy this table for me. Especially rice, beans, potatoes and any other food with a high carb content including some fruits. Not just pruce comparison, but a time comparison. Shopping for, prepping, preparing, and cleaning up after a properly cooked meal takes significantly more time. When people are stretched between multiple jobs, long commutes, no work-life balance, etc the time factor is huge. I used to cook from scratch all the time. Cooking is definitely my happy place. But as a single mom to 3 kids, finding the time is tough. I try to prep and I do have some good routines in place, but its not easy. And if I hadn’t had my personal background of cooking and good routines already well established early on, I probably wouldn’t be able to easily adopt them into my busy lifestyle; its only because I was already comfortable with the work. Dude a tiny ass package of berries is like $6 at least in the store I work at. No wonder I never need to worry about stocking them up, no one buys them unless they’re half price for some reason. It’s fucking bonkers. All I want are some goddamn blackberries and raspberries for my girl cause she loves that shit but I’m not dropping $15 on two packs of 100g that probably opened and lost some of their contents.

I see them at the occasional super market as well, though not anywhere nearly as common as at the gas stations.
