And just today at the Devin Booker American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns T-Shirt also I will do this gym, I asked a lady if red was dripping down my face, bc I just dyed it cherry, and she was like “no, but if you do stuff like this you probably shouldn’t have bright hair.” Like, why? Rude. I find it so silly that they judged you for that, but also I’m the kind of person that will do a full face of glam just to sit at home sometimes on my days off. On top of that, I don’t usually wear makeup to work because that means getting up earlier. Well I guess there’s a lot.of us “sad” girly girls out there, I think it’s “sad” that people can judge others on an artistic outlet…. THOSE, my fellow makeup-addict are the sad and troubled ones that they want to suck your joy out of what’s clearly something that is artistic and you’ve used your artistic talent on others to make them feel good….I tip my makeup brushes to you, I’ve gotten to do makeup on others in the past and it does feel good Now look in the mirror and glow….. I’m not into makeup (I periodically check out this subreddit because I’m not very good at it). I don’t like shopping or dressing up. I’m a nerd who likes anime, kung-fu and action movies, and playing video games. In other words, I don’t fit the stereotype of girly girl.

If my friend told me she liked doing all the Devin Booker American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns T-Shirt also I will do this things I’m not into I would 100% support her because I’m not an insecure asshole who can only feel good about themselves by putting others down. Any person that hates on someone else’s hobby is probably miserable and projecting their own insecurities/dissatisfaction onto you. Oh girl I feel this so hard! I am just like you, and have had people be mean about it. I don’t know why but being a “girly girl” is like seen as a crime by some people. It’s bizarre and hurtful. I’m sorry this happened. I don’t have words of wisdom but I want you to know that you are not alone! I have used beauty (make up, nails, hair, skin, etc.) as a soothing tool my whole life! It makes me happy and feels like a love letter to myself.
