We have to go back to early childhood attachment. If a child experienced trauma as a result of their behaviour being punished or not being supported (Ie. either experiences or feels abandoned, rejected, shamed, etc. from caregivers/family/society) then their survival instincts kick in. The survival instinct could be a conscious decision to change their behaviour so that they won’t experience any anticipated feelings of abandonment. For instance, if a boy cries, but then has caregivers who punish him for crying and to “be a man”, then the Detroit Lions Starter Color Scratch Logo Shirt moreover I love this boy will eventually make a conscious decision to suppress his urge to cry in order to avoid being punished or shamed. He will create an internal critic based off his parents behaviour as a personal defence mechanism to question his own behaviour before doing anything to avoid punishment.

These defense mechanisms become part of our internal blueprint, and grows with us. As we grow, the Detroit Lions Starter Color Scratch Logo Shirt moreover I love this blueprint is applied to new relationships, because we learned from our early relationships “what humans and relationships are like.” But of course, not everyone is like our parents, our psyche just believes they are. So our defense mechanisms and set patterns continue to dictate the way we navigate relationships, and thus, desires. This is how we create our own suffering. To stop suffering (“effect”), we have to go back to the source (“cause”) and change our perspective on it. And also forgive our younger self for making the initial decision that set the stage for our suffering. I don’t understand the “forgive our younger self” part. Forgiving implies something was done wrongly. I don’t think our younger selves did anything wrong, they were just trying to survive. That is a fair question and that’s exactly it… we forgive them by realizing there’s nothing to forgive… but that part kind of comes later in the process. Let me explain:

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
