The idiots who lapped it up were mainly people who were disinterested in cars, didn’t care much about what they owned, how it handled, didn’t care if it fit their actual needs and didn’t care if it inconvenienced others. These idiots started getting into crashes with pedestrians, cyclists and regular people in normal cars. Those light trucks battered whatever it collided with.
