I approve, I sometimes get to layout pipes (for systems a little larger diameter) and a clean, thought out arrangement is so nice That’s how it should look every time. At least the copper should, looks like controls free wired a bunch of shit instead of having an installer run flex or conduit like they should’ve but that’s on whatever PM was involved not the controls tech. My BiL is a plumber and does work like this. The inspector who came to look over the furnace he put in for me said it was the cleanest job he’s ever seen. BiL was 24 at the time. For a start, why so many shut off valves? You shut off the start of the fucking circuit with one valve and do what you need to do lol. You don’t need a valve at the start and end point of every point on the circuit lol. The pump for example has two valves, one on each side. Wtf is the purpose of that? Then all that links into a regular ass boiler…. Its not even industrial. I can’t really think of a single situation where this would be the best way to do anything lol.

Hopefully I never have to work on a system you engineer because having all these valves allow for isolation makes my day go buy a lot faster when I don’t have to drain a whole god damn system just to change out 1 component. Faster means also cheaper for the customer. My other comment aside, that’s why you’re not an engineer. It has so many manual cutoffs because its best practice for service and repair reasons. As well as because most building can’t just afford to shut off an entire HW loop because of one issue in one location. You’ve got no idea what this kind of thing involves, what it’s being used for, or even a basic grasp of the design fundamentals that go into a HW loop or the reasoning behind them. So I’m not sure why you feel qualified to criticize, wrongly, rather than simply fucking ask why it’s so complicated.
