People seem to forget that the Jeff Bagwell in Houston Astros Japanese Baseball Nippon Professional Baseball T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this internet is huge, not just the top 5-10 websites. There’s 100% something out there that will boom because of this shit. I hate that the official app hides comments when you keep your finger on them for two seconds. Makes it so hard to read through comments. Even worse than bleh. The official one sent me a push message at 3 am while my phone was on flight mode. It’s spamming junk. I’ve been using the official app out of sheer laziness and having disabled push notifications for this and virtually every other app I use, I promise you can make it stop. I hate push notifications. It’s just the pop-up of the smartphone era. I agree completely. I enjoy old.reddit more than just regular reddit. I don’t understand why they would ever change from old.reddit. RiF question for ya in mobile: any setting that will prevent the app from refreshing and taking me back to the top of page one when I leave the app then reenter? Also can happen when backing out of a thread. Thanks! I suspect this isn’t RIF but your phone clearing it from RAM when you minimise it. See if there’s a battery saving setting that you can disable for certain apps (my phone calls it optimisation). Under general settings, turn on the quit reminder. This will save your spot if you exit without quitting (at least on android).

Definitely would be easy to walk away from reddit. I already detoxed from Twitter and Facebook and reddit is the Jeff Bagwell in Houston Astros Japanese Baseball Nippon Professional Baseball T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this only social media type app I still use Funny thing for me about books is I started reading a bunch at night these last few months but I still find myself doom scrolling before I close my eyes Already moving on. Been getting crossbanned by bots for subbing to different subs and platform banned for reporting it. This place is getting scary. I recently saw this post from the developer of Apollo and it was disappointing. I would probably stop using Reddit if I couldn’t use a 3rd party app. Don’t forget there’s also 0 customization. You have to use the app the way they tell you to. Additionally, and more importantly, tracking. Far more data of yours is returned to reddit from their app (in the name of targeted ads). It’s them continually “tweaking” the app and changing what few features actually work that’s driving me up the fucking wall. Meh, Ive decided that I’m no longer okay with being forced to see overt ads. They start to algo my attention, how many per whatever I actually want can they force me to see before I turn it off. It’s a drop in the ocean, but if the product isn’t working how I want I just won’t use it. Especially if it doesn’t really add to my quality of life. just a bunch of small annoying this like missing certain shortcuts to do things but that enough for me to love rif (I’m using rif rn in fact)
