Lol it happens all the Dancer Stay Free Shirt and by the same token and time. Company’s post a minimum because that’s what they want to pay or less. If you ask for more they are shaken by your audacity. If they offer you the job I would honestly debate asking for more just to spite them. Name them. If not on this account, make an anonymous account and post their name and the job description and even the person you talked to if you want. The only way to stop this is for everyone to boycott these assholes and only go work for good companies. “You seem surprised by my requested salary. You may not be aware, but the listing explicitly stated the range, and I asked for a figure within that range. You may want to mention to your recruiter that the posting should be updated to reflect the actual salary.” Don’t call them out. Act like they must have just not realized. Gives them plausible deniability but is still a firm boundary on your side.

Dancer Stay Free Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I always streeeeeeeeeeetched that truth because fuck corporations and sadly corporations are almost the Dancer Stay Free Shirt and by the same token and only way to make some good money when you have most people’s skills. Always ask over their listed budget. Either they won’t waste any more of your time or make an actual effort to accommodate you. The key with this tactic is that you must have some skills that will make them willing to bend over backward. Also guaranteed that many of the employers won’t continue interviewing. However, as an employee, you are there to get paid, and a company unwilling to shell out money for you only has so much value. Joined a company that advertised “up to $400 a week” I made 68¢ a week. “Up to” means that’s the highest amount you could get not the promised amount. Hate when employers do that crap. They know that at some point someone with your qualifications but at a less than ideal financial situation will walk through that door, and willing to accept a lowball salary after some persuasion.
