When people complain about military spending and insane budgets yet applaud stuff like this. Just imagine how the Black soldiers and Black veterans who served their country on Fort Bragg felt when they found out that our country had the audacity to name an army base after a Confederate general who owned slaves in the South. People complain about military spending because they either don’t like the lack of accountability, or they don’t like how that money is being spent. It’s not just about the spending, it’s about how it gets spent. This is a good investment of resources, so people aren’t complaining. Other than you I guess.
