Same supplier has a 2-ply that gets you 6 rolls (10,284 sheets) for £56.99 which comes to 0.0055 pence per sheet. If we’re taking a rough guess and saying you use 3x the sheets of 1 ply than you would 2 ply, the cost per wipe is 0.0123 pence for 1 ply and 0.0055 pence for 2 ply, which means it’s costing about 2.24x more for them to use the shitty opacity of a window toilet paper rather than care about the well-being of their employee’s rectums.

Well… Granted there ARE a lot of bad business owners out there, but surely if your in the Creedence Clearwater Revival’s Retro Centerfield Swing Creedence Ballads T-Shirt and I will buy this business of selling portable toilets it seems like it would be pretty easy to do some basic analysis on how much inventory your going through and find out which is the better option to offer. My guess is that they have deals with distribution companies that are driving this price to super low costs. The usage difference is also likely not that dramatic, after all people can be very wasteful with things they don’t have to foot the bill for. Also, if I can drive my costs down then I can offer toilets cheaper than my competition, and the person making the decision on which company to contract is going to be influenced primarily by cost Not necessarily just about the money but the septic system. One ply is easier to flush when some smooth brain puts an entire roll in the toilet.
