This is very OCD. Fear is often associated with the Connor McMichael Canadian professional ice hockey centre currently Washington Capitals T-Shirt and I will buy this “obsession” part. Rumination is the “compulsion” part where you’re contemplating every aspect of Death and how to cheat it. The practice to alleviate this cycle is to redirect your attention to anything but this thought. consider this: If you’re running on a treadmill and are nearly out of breath, what do you do? You step off. Same concept here with Rumination – letting go of the thought (not forcing it out of your head, but drifting to anything else but this obsessive thought). Remember: YOU are creating this stress on yourself, as rumination is not involuntary – you are actively thinking and analyzing your thoughts. If you can start it, you can stop it. Don’t overthink it, just drift you mind onto another subject. Don’t get anxious if that thought re-appears in you mind, just follow the same rule and “let it go”. Hope this can help!

Ironically, it’s the Connor McMichael Canadian professional ice hockey centre currently Washington Capitals T-Shirt and I will buy this accomplishment to have kids in the future that would determine the time that I can now die. I want to die. I don’t fear it. I seek it. But first, I must leave someone in my place. So everything I do now is in preparation for bringing children into this world, to leave them in a safe place with safe people. Then, I can go join everyone else in the other world. I fuckin miss everyone. I do. It’s not death I fear, I fear a PAINFUL, LONELY death. I work with the elderly and the dying. I’ve seen good, peaceful deaths and I’ve seen “dragged out kicking and screaming” and I want peace. I’ve seen the whole family around singing, praying or simple reminiscing while holding a loved ones hand till the end. I’ve also seen people dying alone because family said goodbye at the hospital, they have nobody, or family just can’t bear to see them that way. I’m not judging them but it’s hard to see. I try to sit with them when I can and hold their hand for a moment. I want family. I used to fear death but working with the dying has a way of erasing a bit of the fear and replacing it with a healthy respect for the process.
